Electric Infrared Heating Controls - ICP Control Panels
GENERAL:
ICP panels are built with NEMA rated enclosure and sub panels for mounting electrical controls for use in staging
and control of electric heating products. Panels are designed to comply with local and national codes for in the field connections
of TPI Corporation heating products.
CONTROLS:
Controls for electric heating products shall include, but not be limited to, the following standard controls for TPI
Corporation electric heating products:
• Door interlock disconnect switch for single point field power connection
• Circuit breakers sized for AMP load of individual heater rating
• Definite purpose disconnecting contactor for each heater circuit
• Line terminal block for field connection to heater
• Ground lugs as required by NEC
• Control transformer for control circuit
OPTIONAL CONTROLS:
• Snow and ice melting controllers:
TPI controller - 120V field connection to controller
Field supplied controllers must specify required voltage
• SCR proportional controllers:
Potentionmeter for manual control of infrared heaters
4-20 MA signal field supplied for control of infrared heaters
OPTIONALACCESSORIES:
• Power on indicator pilot lights
• Staging energized pilot lights
• Pilot switches for manual control per heaters
• Timer for internal control of heater cycle
